Non-degree-seeking students

North Park University welcomes students who are not pursuing a full degree to take classes for credit or audit during the academic year or summer. These courses can transfer to other universities or apply toward a North Park degree.

To apply as a non-degree-seeking student, complete our online application and select the “Non-degree seeking” option. After acceptance, a $200 tuition deposit is required to confirm enrollment, refundable only before May 1 for fall or December 15 for spring. This deposit is applied to your future tuition.

Class options

  • For-credit courses: Available at part-time rates during fall and spring. Summer courses are discounted.
  • Audited courses: Participate in class without earning credit ($50 fee per semester hour).

Registration deadlines

  • Fall: August 1
  • Spring: December 15
  • Summer: Before the first class

As a visiting student, you may earn up to 30 semester hours of credit. To continue beyond that, apply for full admission to North Park.
